Interior Painting
Walls, ceilings, trim and millwork, plus cabinet finishing in kitchens that were opened up years ago. Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore finishes, and clean tape lines where the levels see each other.
Stand on the landing of a split-level residence and you can see into three rooms at once. Every tape line, every color change and every patched seam is on display from one spot. LX Pro Home sets and fills the nail pops, seals the drywall seams, and spends the time on the edges where those rooms meet. Because when your entire home is on display, the details are everything.

Power washing, siding, shutter, and trim preparation, then weather-rated coats on capes, ranches, and colonials. Structural wood issues are identified during the estimate. Exterior work runs March through November, when temperatures stay warm enough for paint to cure.

Renovation work can be coordinated with baseboard, window and door casing, crown molding, interior door installation, and drywall. Each service is defined separately before work begins.

Local conditions shape the plan.
The open kitchen, the added bath, the finished basement. Upper Merion's postwar houses got their updates years ago, and paint is where you see the seams. A trim profile changes between one doorway and the next. New board was butted into old plaster when a wall came out. Three decades of paint sit stacked on the same door casing. None of it shows in a photograph, but all of it shows from the landing.
Here's what we do about it:
Yes. In split-level homes, paint lines are visible from multiple floors, so precision is critical. We sand and dust every surface first so our tape seals completely flat. Then, we seal the tape edge before applying your wall color so paint never bleeds under it. Removing the tape while the paint is still wet gives you a razor-sharp, crisp line every time.
We install baseboards, window and door casing, crown molding, interior doors, and drywall before painting begins. Each installation and finish step is listed on its own line in the proposal.
Yes. Lead-paint rules apply to any house built before 1978, so a 1968 split-level is covered while a 1985 build sits outside them. The threshold is work disturbing more than six square feet of painted surface inside, or twenty outside. We confirm your build year at the in-home estimate and follow lead-safe practice wherever the rule applies. LX Pro Home is an EPA Lead-Safe Certified.
